We are delighted to present the new 2024 vintage of Maison Fang, one of Burgundy’s most exclusive and sought-after emerging producers.

Born in China in 1987, Ming Fang moved to Burgundy in 2007 to pursue his passion for wine. After studying at the Lycée Viticole de Davayé, he continued his education in viticulture at the Institut Universitaire de la Vigne in Dijon.

In 2019, he fulfilled his dream by founding his own micro-négociant, with an initial production of just 3,000 bottles sourced from some of Burgundy’s most prestigious appellations. His wines from Aloxe-Corton, Meursault, Pernand-Vergelesses and Bâtard-Montrachet were initially reserved for his loyal Chinese clientele and served in some of the country’s finest restaurants.

Today, Maison Fang is based in Meursault and produces only around 5,000 bottles per year. The whites are pure and elegant, while the reds are refined and remarkably expressive, each reflecting the complexity and character of Burgundy’s greatest terroirs with exceptional precision.

From selecting the grapes to blending the cuvées and even designing the labels, Ming Fang personally oversees every stage of production. Nothing is left to chance. Every detail is approached with rigor, sensitivity and extraordinary precision.

Production at Maison Fang is always extremely limited, but the 2024 vintage is particularly scarce. Low yields, combined with even stricter fruit selection, have resulted in very small allocations across the entire range.

What makes this vintage especially exciting, however, is its style. The cooler growing season has produced wines of remarkable tension, freshness and precision.

Ming Fang’s philosophy has always been to craft wines that are vibrant, linear and deeply rooted in their terroir, where neither oak nor extraction ever overshadows the identity of the vineyard. In this respect, 2024 is an ideal vintage. Rather than imposing his own signature, Ming has allowed both the vintage and each individual terroir to express themselves with exceptional purity and clarity.

Maison Fang 2024 embodies everything we seek in contemporary Burgundy: purity, energy, finesse and extraordinary drinkability. It is, without question, one of the finest and most compelling vintages the Maison has ever produced.

Because of the exceptionally low yields and the tiny overall production, quantities are extremely limited. We therefore recommend securing your allocation as soon as possible.
