We are delighted to share something genuinely exceptional with you: we are now the official importer of Domaine Pierre-Olivier Garcia.

From his tiny cellar in Nuits-Saint-Georges, Garcia produces approximately 20,000 bottles across around 20 cuvées, far too little to satisfy demand from collectors, sommeliers and Burgundy lovers worldwide. We have now secured our first direct allocation: the highly anticipated 2025 vintage, offered through two specially curated selections.

Pierre-Olivier Garcia is renowned for an extraordinary technique called baie par baie, French for “berry by berry.”

Immediately after harvest, the grapes are chilled. Then, using fine scissors, each berry is individually cut from its stem, intact and uncrushed. Preparing enough fruit for a single barrel can require 30 people working for an entire day. Whole clusters, hand-cut berries and destemmed fruit are then layered inside the vat.

The result is Garcia’s unmistakable signature: intensely perfumed wines with roses, fresh red berries, fine spices, silky tannins and almost weightless intensity. These are not Burgundies built on power, extraction or new oak. They seduce through fragrance, precision and texture.

The 2025 vintage is already generating considerable excitement across Burgundy. Although volumes are limited, the fruit arrived remarkably healthy, with excellent ripeness and vibrant acidity. The reds are expressive and deeply coloured, combining pure cherry and raspberry fruit with silky tannins, moderate alcohol and impressive aromatic precision. The Aligotés are equally promising, balancing generosity with freshness and energy.

It is a vintage perfectly suited to Pierre-Olivier Garcia’s meticulous approach: wines of perfume, precision and graceful intensity. Burgundy for those who value finesse over force and individuality over convention.
