IN THE HEART OF CHABLIS
Located in the very heart of Chablis, Château de Béru is a historic family-owned estate covering 15 hectares. Today, it is passionately run by Athénaïs de Béru, who has transformed the domaine by adopting biodynamic practices to fully highlight the identity of the terroir.
The vineyards, reaching up to 300 meters in altitude, are rooted in Kimmeridgian soils rich in marine fossils, which impart an extraordinary mineral tension to the wines.
The flagship vineyard, Clos Béru, is a walled monopole that represents the ultimate expression of the region’s minerality.
WINEMAKING
Vinification follows a natural approach: spontaneous fermentations with indigenous yeasts, long aging in wood or amphora, and since 2012 some cuvées bottled without sulfites.
The result? Pure, vibrant wines of great depth, capable of evolving beautifully over time.
With an annual production of around 60,000 bottles, Château de Béru stands as a benchmark for those seeking the authenticity of Chablis and a profound respect for nature.
