From Australia to Burgundy, Mark Haisma has carved out an unconventional path, winning over wine lovers with wines of authentic and vibrant character.
After years at Yarra Yering, one of Australia’s most iconic wineries, he chose to settle in Gevrey-Chambertin, where he now produces wines that reflect his philosophy: respect for the land, minimal intervention, and maximum expression of terroir.
With just 4 hectares and carefully selected purchased grapes, Mark works with spontaneous fermentations and a carefully measured use of sulfur, always keeping the focus on fruit purity.
