BURGUNDY, FRANCE

BURGUNDY AND ITS VARIETALS

Located in Beaune, La Pierre Ronde is the result of the passion and dedication of Antoine Lepetit de la Bigne. After collaborating for eight years with Domaine Leflaive, Antoine devoted his career to supporting winegrowers in their transition to organic and biodynamic practices, working side by side with producers in some of Burgundy’s most prestigious areas.

The estate produces characterful wines from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Aligoté, sourced from vineyards in emblematic appellations such as Rully, Saint-Romain, Meursault, and Corton-Charlemagne.

THE WINES

For the whites, vinification involves direct pressing, fermentation with indigenous yeasts, and 12 months of aging in barrels, foudres, and amphorae, with sulfur added only if necessary.

For the reds, spontaneous maceration is carried out with a proportion of whole clusters, followed by 10–12 months of maturation in wood and amphorae. The wines are then blended and further refined in stainless steel, preserving the balance and character of the terroir.

La Pierre Ronde is a domaine that unites tradition and innovation, where each bottle reflects both a love for the land and meticulous care in winemaking.
