CAREMA - PIEDMONT, ITALIA

THE "CAREMESI" PERGOLES

The Muraje winery, located in the historic Carema area in the heart of Piedmont, is a family-run business led by Deborah and Federico.

With its 1.5 hectares of vineyards meticulously cultivated on iron-rich terraced soils, Muraje is passionately dedicated to enhancing Nebbiolo, the flagship grape variety of this region. The “Caremesi” pergolas, historic cultivation structures typical of the area, give their name to the winery’s wines, which successfully combine tradition and innovation. With a limited production of around 4,500 bottles per year, Muraje stands out for its approach centered on naturalness.

Its wines

Fermentation takes place spontaneously thanks to the use of indigenous yeasts, preserving the authenticity of the fruit and the terroir. The use of sulfites is reduced to only 50 mg/l, maintaining the purity of the wines without compromising their quality.

Every bottle from Muraje is a true sensory journey: from the elegance of velvety tannins to the aromatic complexity that recalls the mineral characteristics of the iron-rich soils. Ideal for enriching a quality wine collection or for standing out on a refined wine list, this winery captures the best of Piedmont in every sip.
