WONDER IN THE LANGHE
In the heart of the Langhe, in Neive, one of the historic communes of Barbaresco, Francesco Versio represents the new generation of Piedmontese winemakers. After years of experience at the prestigious Bruno Giacosa estate, he decided in 2012 to transform his family’s vineyard heritage into his own production, creating wines of character and elegance.
On just over 3 hectares of vineyards located in exceptional Barbaresco crus such as Albesani, Currà, and San Cristoforo, Francesco cultivates Nebbiolo and Dolcetto with a respectful approach to nature.
THE CELLAR
In the cellar, he follows a minimalist philosophy: spontaneous fermentations, extended macerations and aging in large wooden casks to bring out the full identity of the terroir.
Francesco creates pure and profound wines, where his Barbaresco stands out for its finesse and complexity, while his Barbera, Dogliani, and Langhe Nebbiolo captivate with their intensity and freshness.
