LANGHE - PIEDMONT, ITALY

A NEW ENERGY
Cascina delle Rose is a historic family-run winery in Barbaresco, acquired by the Rizzolio family in 1948. The big transformation came with the arrival of the talented brothers Riccardo and Davide Sobrino, who brought new energy and vision to the management of this small estate, located atop the Tre Stelle cru, one of the most prestigious sites in the area.
With 5.5 hectares of vineyards cultivated using organic methods, Cascina delle Rose produces between 30,000 and 35,000 bottles annually, always placing the highest attention on sustainability and quality.
A NATURAL APPROACH
Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts, maintaining the most natural approach possible, and sulfites are used sparingly (between 30 and 50 mg/L) to ensure pure wines that respect the terroir. This winery is renowned for its elegant and long-lived wines, able to combine immediacy and complexity. Among its treasures is the tiny production of the precious Rio Sordo cru, a rare and consistently awarded wine, now almost impossible to find.
The wines of Cascina delle Rose are the authentic expression of Barbaresco, and if you haven’t discovered them yet, now is the time to hunt for a bottle before they become even rarer.
