PANTELLERIA - SICILY, ITALY

Wine in Amphorae
Just a stone’s throw from Africa and three from Italy, on the island of Pantelleria, Serragghia was born, a unique project by Gabrio Bini, a Florentine architect.
In the 1990s, Gabrio fell in love with the island and, after starting with caper production, he devoted himself to wine. With only 6 hectares of vineyards, Serragghia stands out for its respect for the land and a non-interventionist approach. The vineyards, cultivated according to the Alberello Pantesco method, withstand the winds, while in the winery, fermentations take place spontaneously in amphorae buried in tuff, without sulphur dioxide.
THE Zibibbo
Zibibbo is the flagship grape, vinified dry, alongside varieties such as Nerello Mascalese, Pinot Noir, Carignan, Syrah, and Savagnin.
Today, Giotto Bini, Gabrio’s son, leads the winery, keeping the original philosophy alive.
Serragghia’s wines are an authentic expression of the territory, remarkable for their longevity and purity. Serragghia is a meeting point of art, nature, and passion.
