AT THE FOOT OF THE VOLCANO
Sogno Lavico was born from the passion of Davide Dargenio, ASPI’s Best Sommelier of Italy 2018 and enology professor at EHL in Lausanne.
Though he has no family ties to Mount Etna, Davide fell in love with the volcano and acquired a small vineyard at 680 meters above sea level, surrounded by olive trees that shield it from frost. The sandy soil and volcanic rocks, combined with Etna’s unique climate and dramatic temperature shifts, give Sogno Lavico wines a vibrant personality.
ORGANIC AND BIODYNAMIC
With an organic and biodynamic approach, featuring spontaneous fermentations and minimal use of sulphites, the purity of Nerello Mascalese is brought to the forefront.
Each bottle is a work of art, with labels designed by artist friends, making every wine truly one-of-a-kind.
Sogno Lavico is a project with a big soul, capable of telling the story of Etna in every glass.
