MARSALA - SICILY, ITALY

Sicily and Its Vineyards
Manfredi is the project of Manfredi Franco, a young producer from Marsala who decided to turn his passion for wine into a tangible reality. After several years working as a lawyer between Milan and Rome, Manfredi chose to return to his roots in his beloved Marsala, leaving behind the city’s hustle and dedicating himself to the land and the production of authentic wines.
With a strong connection to the high-end food & beverage world and a prestigious recognition as “Best Customer of the Year” in 2020 by Le Guide de L’Espresso, Manfredi developed a deep knowledge and passion for wine. During the pandemic, his dream came to life: he acquired an ancient 2-hectare vineyard where he enhances the typical Sicilian grape varieties of the area, such as Nocera, Corinto, Nerello Mascalese, Nero d’Avola, Zibibbo, Grillo, Catarratto, and Grecanico.
His Wines
With the support of his mentor Vincenzo Angileri, Manfredi produces wines that reflect the soul of the Marsala territory.
Manfredi’s wines are born from spontaneous fermentations with indigenous yeasts, minimal use of sulfites, and a biological approach respectful of nature.
With a limited production of 9.000 bottles per year, this young reality stands out for its authenticity, dedication, and commitment to telling the rich story of Sicily through wines that blend tradition and modernity.
