Cupano is a unique winery, born in the 1990s thanks to the vision of French director and photographer Lionel Cousin and his wife Ornella Tondini, who recognized the extraordinary potential of the lands in the southwest of Montalcino, near the village of Camigliano, along the banks of the Ombrone River.

Today, the estate extends over about 35 hectares, of which 6.4 are vineyards meticulously cultivated following biodynamic principles.

Management is now entrusted to the talented Andrea Polidoro, who, after training under Lionel’s guidance, carries forward Cupano’s legacy with a perfect balance between innovation and respect for tradition.
