MONTE AMIATA - TUSCANY, ITALY

A Hidden Gem
Bakkanali is a young venture born from the vision of Sebastian and Ugo, two experts with notable experience in the wine world: Sebastian, director and winemaker at Podere Le Ripi, and Ugo, with a commercial background in major wineries in Montalcino.
Their search for a pristine and unexplored territory led them to discover nearby Monte Amiata, an ancient volcano with a summit reaching nearly 1750 meters. This land, long overlooked, is now revealing itself as a hidden gem thanks to its altitude, temperature variations, and more frequent rainfall compared to nearby Montalcino.
Authentic and Fresh
The winery spans 7.5 hectares cultivated according to organic and biodynamic principles, with fermentations entrusted to indigenous yeasts and an extremely low use of sulphites.
With an annual production of about 35.000 bottles, Bakkanali stands out for fresh, authentic wines deeply connected to the territory.
